After coloring and texturing some of my elements, this project became a giant monster, (I mean, the project is so heavy and render is painfully slow....)Well, I'm kinda happy with what I have now. Hopefully, I can have this feeling till the piece finish...

As I mentioned before, my thesis will be a series of short animations. The whole theme is around "home," starts from leave home, than miss home, build a new home, and finally, go home. This series doesn't have a solid storyline, but it has a strong narrative character.
The draft is a sketch for my first theme-- leave home. I will follow up with work-in-progress and motion test.

After researching and revising, I finally pinned down my thesis topic. Actually, it is pretty straight forward-- doing a series of short animation to show my skills and personal style. For the writing component, I'll do artist statement to explain my influence and reference.
I'll keep updating my progress. Please feel free to comment.
